Their goal was to simplify the operational processes supporting large volumes of supplier and channel payments across multiple Operations Divisions.

The requirement for Affirma was to provide a fully outsourced PMO to scope, design, develop and deliver a series of simplification initiatives to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction while maintaining strong governance and financial controls.

The Affirma team comprised a Senior PMO lead with Project Managers and Analysts to support an operational efficiency transformation project over a 1.5-year period.

What We Did

We embedded a Senior Project Manager/PMO Lead and a team of PMs and Analysts working in partnership with our client and their wider team of Cross Organisation Stakeholders.

From Project inception, we developed the Project Charter, Governance model, Project ROB/Rhythm for meetings and updates, a Portfolio of Project plans, and Frameworks for Project Communications & Readiness.  Through Project Planning, Design, and Building we managed a portfolio of complex process changes and tools.  We developed all Project Executive Sponsors, Stakeholder updates and ongoing Project messaging, Strategic and Project Communications, and Readiness.  We led the portfolio of projects through all Exec sponsors, Stakeholders, and Divisional tollgates & milestones.

Our experienced Technology Project Managers managed a series of Automation Projects to test various leading-edge technologies, developing business cases as well as technical specifications and process re-designs to support rigorous Executive decision-making and Project milestone clearance.

We managed a series of highly successful project launches over the 1.5 years, delivering on time and on budget with excellent client and end-customer feedback.

We created a strong team within the Client organization and operated at a consistently high-performance level on all key aspects of this complex and high-profile initiative from design, and development to delivery.

We were integral in tracking the portfolio of the project’s progress through all milestones and tollgates on time and within budget.  We were instrumental in designing and launching new processes and tools to support the global centralized program and undertaking deep Data analytics and Business modeling to shape the scope of multiple project initiatives.

We were pivotal in supporting our clients to achieve their business goals to improve operational efficiency and simplify requirements while ensuring full control and governance over large business investments.
