Data & Analytics Managed Service – Paragon Medical

Business Need

MW Industries’ Healthcare brand, Paragon Medical, was in search of a consulting firm that had capabilities, experience, and expertise with several tools and platforms, such as AWS Redshift, Power BI, Matillion, Alteryx, and Tableau. Their immediate need was to review, recommend, and implement a strong and scalable Business Intelligence Roadmap for MW Industries, Paragon Medical division. We are now operating in an ongoing Managed Service engagement model supporting Paragon Medical and their sister company, MW Components’ data & analytics needs.

What We Did & Results

Affirma broke down this effort into phases.

Phase 1 of this effort was to focus on the assessment, best practices, and recommendations, as well as the planning efforts for an eventual deployment.

Phase 2 was migrating all of Paragon Medical’s Alteryx workflows (roughly 50) over to Matillion, with it landing in Redshift.

Phase 3 has been maturing that environment and adding new data pipelines and remapping of reports based on the new architecture.
