Last week, Affirma was ranked on the Inc. 5000 list, which is one of the most prestigious rankings for the fastest growing businesses in the nation. We are honored to share the same spotlight with previous recipients like Facebook, LinkedIn and Pandora Radio as we continue on as one of the fastest growing tech companies that adds value to the ever expanding technological landscape.
In order to qualify as an Inc. 5000 top candidate for fastest growing company, the organization must be U.S.-based, privately-held and independent, meaning it is not a subsidiary or division of another company. Another requirement is to demonstrate revenue growth over three years from at least $100,000 in the first year to at least $2 million in the third year, with a higher revenue in 2015 than 2012, in order to qualify in 2016.
This is not the first time Affirma has been recognized for exceptional growth in the marketplace. In fact, Affirma has been awarded one of the 5000 fastest growing companies for three straight years based on rapid growth demonstrated in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Inc. 5000 has measured our growth at 63% over the past three years and we are projected to continue growing.
