Unisys – Legacy Product Modernization

Business Need

Unisys needed to redesign and modernize its legacy TrustCheck product, which had been operating through Excel. TrustCheck notifies companies about potential cyber threats, estimates the likelihood of cyber-related financial losses, and provides actionable insights to leadership teams. The company wanted to create a scalable, web-based platform that would enhance user experience, support iterative product releases, and provide a compelling interface for CISOs and CSOs to evaluate cybersecurity ROI and run “what-if” risk scenarios.

What We Did

Affirma partnered with Unisys to bring TrustCheck to life as a modern digital product by:

• Applying UX design heuristics and best practices to redefine the product’s user experience and interface.

• Rebuilding and modernizing the solution using React and Microsoft Azure for performance, scalability, and accessibility.

• Leading product strategy, iterative releases, and testing cycles to ensure a polished, reliable final product.

Results

• Successfully launched the modernized TrustCheck platform on schedule for Unisys’ client licensing in Spring 2020.
